Work has begun on a new project, The Y.I.B.I.G. Project. It's been described as a movement by some and a music ministry by others...either way it's about God. Some songs are fun bible stories like Noahs Ark or Daniel and Lions Den...others are deeper thought provoking songs about personal faith and daily struggles. Check out yibig.org.

Another animation by Bob East...this one is for the YiPPiT song "I LIKE HALLOWEEN." It's scheduled to play on a few select PBS stations for the rest of October! Hope you all enjoy and have a kooky spooky Halloween!!

Animator Bob East and I won first place in the video contest for the Charles E. Henderson for Congress camp! Burmusic did the jingle and Bob did the animation and it came out pretty darn good....good enough for the Grand Prize!!

Just recently got around to uploading two of the YiPPiT music videos filmed and edited by the Trinity Broadcasting Network.....they are also on MySpace...now they're also on YouTube!!

There was an article on Cleverparents.com that listed the top 10 songs that parents should download for their kids AND themselves and YiPPiT was #2!!!!!!! Here's what they said:

Professor YiPPiT has just filmed 3 'music videos' with the Trinity Broadcasting Network. After a couple weeks of editing and the hopeful final approval from headquaters...These videos will air worldwide on the Smile Of A Child Network! Keep and eye out for YiPPiT on your TV!!

Professor YiPPiT's new CD, MAGIC BALLOON, is now available online for purchase and MP3 downloads. This 5 song EP is full of warmth, heart and uplifting positivity!

After a few meetings and an extra pow wow here and there, it looks like Professor YiPPiT will be bringing some music and a show to Myrtle Beach. Shows are slated to started June 1st and The Market Common and run weekly throughout the summer season. Stay tuned for more!!

The first official rehearsal for the 'new' M.F.K. project is underway. After what seems like years of brainstorming and trying to find members....M.F.K. may soon be an actual performing band. If and when this is completed it will surely be an experience you will not want to miss

The final two songs have been mixed for the upcoming CD "Magic Balloon." The 5 song EP still needs to be mastered and packaged so we're hoping for a late October release!

The official results have finally come in. Well we weren't awarded the grand prize but our commercial for the Pet Butler company was awarded 'Most Original!" Thanks to all who voted!

We've filmed a commercial for the Pet Butler company contest. Not sure the final outcome, but we did get a check in the mail so I guess that's not all bad!

A new song for the new CD or DVD is done. It's called Magic Balloon and it may be a brand new favorite of mine! Drums were handled by Brett Alderman. Maybe one day soon we'll get the new project done...sheesh!!!

We are putting out a beginning guitar method book called "Solid Foundations For Playing Guitar." Written by Matt Burmeister and Andrew Rosborough, this book will start you out on the right foot combining some of the most important things that these two writers/performers/educators have learned over the course of their musical careers. It will be available hopefully before Christmas but definitely by they new year!

The collection of spiritual songs that would have been "Lessons Learned" have been momentarily put on the shelf. Back to the drawing board we go and we'll keep you up to date on any new information.

Lessons Learned, the new contemporary christian record that was supposed to be done this summer is STILL in production. Slowly but......slowly it's coming together so hang in there and hopefully we'll have it to you before 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's some great songs on here!

An upcoming CD release, featuring vocalist Tim Spradlin, is almost complete. All initial recording is done it's now time for mixing/mastering/packaging. We'll let you know when there are samples available for listening and for a tentative release date.

Professor Yippit music has just been added to The Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl radio show! "Rearrange" will be the first song to appear on the program. Contact them and show your support. The Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl is a kids' radio show on WAWL in Chattanooga, TN.

Matt Burmeister will collaborate with fellow guitarist Mike Palmer to record a (mostly) acoustic instrumental album entitled, "About Time." They will be swapping files back and forth to and from their home studios since one resides in Indiana and the other in South Carolina.
